7 Shot; 1 Dead; Suspects On the Run

(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – HAPPENING NOW: A former nightclub in Mississippi was the scene of a mass shooting that resulted in the death of one woman and injured six others.

Tchula Police Chief Kenny Hampton stated, “The shots came from a vehicle outside of The Mix around 11 p.m.”

Once a nightclub, the Mix is now a pool hall in a community of approximately 1,600 residents.

A woman tragically lost her life on site among the seven individuals who were shot.

Two injured individuals were transported to a hospital in Lexington, Mississippi. They were subsequently airlifted to the University of Mississippi Medical Center, with one suffering three gunshot wounds.

Meanwhile, three of the injured were provided medical care in Lexington and another in Greenwood.

Evidence at the scene revealed bullets from both an AK-47 and an AR-15.

There’s an ongoing manhunt for two individuals believed to be connected to the shooting.

Additionally, the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office located a car on Howard Bottom Road just outside of Tchula that showed signs of being shot at from both inside and outside. This car had been reported stolen from a Jackson used car lot. Notably, the ballistics evidence suggests the firearms used match those identified at the shooting site.

To address the situation, the sheriff’s office and Tchula police are joining forces to delve deeper into the investigation.
