An autopsy revealed a gruesome scene with Aguilar suffering 68 stab wounds predominantly to the neck and upper torso.
The manner of death has been officially ruled a homicide due to sharp-force injuries.
This brutal crime has not only shocked her community but also drawn the attention of military authorities working alongside local law enforcement.

“Anyone with information or additional video footage is asked to please contact Detective Hofinga at (931) 648-0656, ext. 5720,” it said.
