(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and the rest of the Biden administration have set free almost 1,400 illegal alien convicts inside the United States over only three months, according to US government data.
The convicted criminals who have come to the US as illegal immigrants were unleashed in American communities by President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security between October 1 and December 18, 2022, Breitbart News informs.
The report cites the latest data from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) showing that 1,363 illegal alien convicts were released from DHS custody during that period.
Of those, 463 bonded out, 421 were issued an order of recognizance, and 371 got out on an order of supervision. The remaining 108 were paroled.
Besides the released convicts, Biden’s DHS also let go over 1,800 illegal immigrants with “pending criminal charges against them.”
ICE data shows that the total number of illegal aliens set free from DHS custody inside the US between October 1 and December 18 exceeded 35,000.
The report underscores Biden’s Department of Homeland Security “seems to be increasing releases.” Thus, the number of illegals released from DHS detention in the first 18 months of December was greater than November’s total releases.
According to RJ Hauman from the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), the Biden administration’s mass release of illegal immigrant convicts may be breaking the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA).
Under an INA statute, an alien convict could be released only for various forms of witness protection, and if “the alien satisfies the Attorney General that the alien will not pose a danger to the safety of other persons or of property and is likely to appear for any scheduled proceeding.”
“The law explicitly requires that those who cross the border illegally be detained, but the Biden administration clearly doesn’t want to detain or deport anyone,” Hauman stated.
“So it isn’t surprising that they are attempting to undermine the rule of law by not only cutting overall detention capacity but illegally releasing criminal aliens as well,” he added.
“Public safety is under attack to advance their open borders agenda,” the FAIR official elaborated.
The report points out that President Joe Biden’s administration “has sought to gut interior immigration enforcement through so-called ‘sanctuary country’ measures.”
The measures in question prevent the arrest and deportation of most of the 11 to 22 million illegal aliens in the United States.
Biden’s DHS has already dramatically slashed the deportations of illegal immigrants from American communities – by over 90% in some cases.
It has also curtailed by over 70% the arrests of illegal aliens living throughout the United States.
