In a bombshell revelation that sent shockwaves through the system, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) uncovered $382 million in fraudulent “unemployment claims for fake people.”
DOGE chief Elon Musk, appointed by President Trump to root out government waste, expressed shock at the findings.
“Your tax dollars were going to pay fraudulent unemployment claims for fake people born in the future! This is so crazy that I had to read it several times before it sank in,” he stated.
From toddlers to centenarians, the scope of deception was so ludicrous it included claims from individuals purportedly born in the future.
The DOGE investigation revealed that Americans’ tax dollars funded unemployment benefits for 28,000 toddlers ages 1-5 who somehow claimed $254 million.
Another $59 million was paid to 24,500 people allegedly over 115 years old—despite the oldest living American being just 114.
Perhaps most absurdly, $69 million was paid to 9,700 individuals with birth dates more than 15 years in the future.
In one outrageous case, someone claiming a birth year of 2154 received $41,000 in benefits.
This flagrant abuse happened right under the noses of various federal agencies supposedly responsible for preventing fraud.
While Democrat-run agencies were busy pushing woke agendas, criminals were looting the system designed to help legitimate Americans in need.
The systemic nature of this fraud is particularly disturbing. The audit revealed that the Social Security Administration’s database contains approximately 7 million accounts for individuals supposedly over 120 years old.
Despite knowing about these impossible ages, the SSA chose not to spend $9 million to fix the glaring security hole, allowing fraudsters to exploit the system and steal hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars.
Moreover, the fraud occurred openly, with state agencies, banks, and federal departments processing these absurd claims without raising red flags.
This level of incompetence or willful ignorance demonstrates how deeply the administrative state has failed American citizens while wasting their hard-earned tax money.
Tellingly, major left-leaning media outlets have largely ignored this explosive report, continuing their pattern of protecting those from accountability.
While House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) has highlighted DOGE’s critical work, Democrats have expressed concerns about the agency’s motives rather than addressing the massive fraud it uncovered.
DOGE is recommending sweeping reforms, including system digitization, biometric and AI verification, and ending bureaucratic immunity that shields government workers from consequences when they fail to protect public funds.
The report calls for federal indictments against those responsible for enabling this massive fraud.
