(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – United States Border Patrol agents have a message for President Joe Biden, who, for the first time during his presidency, is visiting the border with Mexico, where millions of illegal aliens have breached the border and crossed into the United States during Biden’s time in office.
That message: Too little. Too late.
As The New York Post notes in “Border Patrol agents ‘beyond frustrated’ with White House handling of border chaos“:
“Frontline US Border Patrol agents are ‘beyond frustrated’ with the chaotic situation at the southern frontier and say President Biden’s first visit to the region Sunday is too little, too late, according to a report.
“‘We’re beyond frustrated that it’s taken him two years,’ said National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd in an interview with Fox News Digital this week. ‘We’re beyond frustrated that he allowed this issue to get as bad as it is. He’s not coming to the border of his own accord. He would have done that a long, long time ago.'” [emphasis added]
How bad is the situation at the border?
“Morale is low among Border Patrol agents, who have faced a historic influx of migrant “encounters” over the last two years, Judd said. In fiscal year 2022, there were more than 2.4 million migrants crossing the nearly 2,000-mile length of the southern border with Mexico, according to US Customs and Border Protection statistics released in October.” [emphasis added]
According to one law enforcement expert, “It’s a safe bet that Biden will not receive a warm welcome from Border Patrol agents during his brief visit.”
