BREAKING: 11 Shot, 3 Dead in Mass Shooting

( – Fort Worth, Texas, police are investigating a mass shooting that occurred on Monday night, tragically leading to the deaths of three individuals and injuries to many others.

The mass casualty incident took place a little before midnight at ComoFest, a popular Fourth of July celebration in the Como neighborhood, which is located southwest of downtown Fort Worth.

The event had attracted hundreds of people when the shooting occurred.

After the shooting began, the injured were quickly taken to two local Fort Worth hospitals. Some were transported by private vehicles, while others were rushed in ambulances.

As per the Fort Worth police’s records, 11 shooting victims have been accounted for. Unfortunately, three of these individuals didn’t survive, while the other eight are recovering. The victims comprised of ten adults and one child.

Captain Shawn Murray, from the Fort Worth Police Department, shared that the location of the crime covered a few blocks in the vicinity of Diaz Avenue and Horne Street.

At this point, Captain Murray stated that it was too early to determine the motive behind the shootings or the exact number of shooters involved.

They are also anxious to hear from anyone who may have personal videos from the time of the shooting or any events that happened before the incident.
