BREAKING: Judge Slams Trump With Expedited Demand

( – BREAKING NOW: On Saturday, in an extremely rare weekend court order, a U.S. District Court Judge demanded former President Donald Trump respond to the protective order application put forth by Special Counsel Jack Smith by the close of business on Monday.

This order is connected to the indictment lodged against Trump by Smith regarding his purported unlawful attempts to reverse the results of the 2020 presidential election.

Judge Tanya S. Chutkan’s concise directive gave Trump until 5 p.m. Monday to present his response to Smith’s application. In her communication, Chutkan instructed, “If Defendant disagrees with any portion of the government’s proposed Protective Order, his response shall include a revised version of that Protective Order with any modifications in red line.”

Smith filed for the protective order late Friday night, asserting that Trump might divulge sensitive case details on social media platforms.

This application was submitted following a statement by Trump on Truth Social where he declared, “IF YOU GO AFTER ME, I’M COMING AFTER YOU!”.

This week, Smith presented new indictments to Trump, contending that the former president circulated “knowingly false” accusations of election fraud in a bid to retain his position post the 2020 election loss.

Smith’s filing expressed concern over potential justice administration issues in his case, cautioning, “If the defendant were to begin issuing public posts using details — or, for example, grand jury transcripts— obtained in discovery here, it could have a harmful chilling effect on witnesses or adversely affect the fair administration of justice in this case.”
