BREAKING: Senate Committee Drops COVID Origin Bombshell

(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – The COVID-19 pandemic most probably started with an incident that caused a viral leak at the virology institute in the Chinese city of Wuhan in the fall of 2019, a report by a US Senate committee has established.

The coronavirus pandemic was “more likely than not, the result of a research-related incident,” according to the US Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor & Pensions (HELP) report.

The 35-page document is still only an interim report, but its findings have also been confirmed by a parallel journalistic investigation by Vanity Fair and ProPublica.

Both reports demonstrated that the Wuhan Institute of Virology, run by China’s Communist regime, “was far more troubled than previously known” regardless of presumably being a cutting-edge biotech research facility.

The Senate HELP committee report exposing the likely laboratory failure origin of COVID-19 was compiled by a team of nine staffers commissioned by Republican US Senator of North Carolina Richard Burr.

They were joined by Toy Reid, 44, an expert in East Asian languages with crucial expertise in the “party speak” of Chinese Communist officials.

Reid’s ability to correctly interpret Communist officials’ online accounts revealed that the Wuhan Institute of Virology suffered a security incident in November 2019, more than a month before the spread of the novel coronavirus started making world news headlines.

“The party speak is “its own lexicon”… Even a native Mandarin speaker “can’t really follow it. It’s not meant to be easily understood. It’s almost like a secret language of Chinese officialdom. When they’re talking about anything potentially embarrassing, they speak of it in innuendo and hushed tones, and there’s a certain acceptable way to allude to something,” the report explained, citing Reid.

The expert’s work focused on online dispatches by members of the Chinese Communist Party working at the BSL-4 laboratory of the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

“These dispatches remain on the internet, but their meaning can’t be unlocked by just anyone. Using his hard-earned expertise, Reid believes he unearthed secrets that were hiding in plain sight,” the report pointed out.

“On November 12, 2019, a dispatch by party branch members at the BSL-4 laboratory appeared to reference a biosecurity breach: ‘These viruses come without a shadow and leave without a trace,’” the report added.

Vanity Fair and ProPublica emphasized that the Wuhan Institute of Virology has been hosting “some of China’s riskiest coronavirus research.”

They also stressed that, like any other government-run entity in China, it is staffed by Communist Party members who constantly have to prove their loyalty to the Communist regime. The institute itself has 16 different branches of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

However, according to Toy Reid’s interpretation of the online dispatches by the institute party members, in November 2019, developments inside the Wuhan Institute of Virology “took a darker turn.”

The journalistic investigation parallel to the US Senate probe reaffirmed his conclusions.

“The WIV dispatches did indeed signal that the institute faced an acute safety emergency in November 2019; that officials at the highest levels of the Chinese government weighed in; and that urgent action was taken in an effort to address ongoing safety issues,” the journalistic report said.

“The documents do not make clear who was responsible for the crisis, which laboratory it affected specifically, or what the exact nature of the biosafety emergency was,” it noted, making it clear the US Senate investigation was expecting further developments.
