
(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – BREAKING NOW: Just moments ago, the United States Supreme Court reimposed the death penalty on convicted Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev after finding, by a vote of 6 to 3, that a lower court had ruled improperly when it threw out Tsarnaev’s death penalty sentence that the trial court had imposed.
Writing for the majority, United States Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas ruled, “Dzhokhar Tsarnaev committed heinous crimes…The Sixth Amendment nonetheless guaranteed him a fair trial before an impartial jury. He received one.”
The three dissenting judges were Justices Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan.
As the New York Post notes, “It’s unclear when Tsarnaev may be put to death since the Justice Department announced a moratorium on federal executions in July.”
