(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – BREAKING NOW: Just moments ago, during an interview on the Hugh Hewitt Show, former President Donald Trump stated that he believes if he is indicted, there will be “problems in this country the likes of which perhaps we’ve never seen before.”
A quick review of social media posts following Trump’s remarks shows the overwhelming majority of people commenting from the right and left believe Trump was threatening that there will be a violent reaction from some in the MAGA movement if he is indicted.
You can watch the video of Trump’s complete statement further down this post.
After reminding Trump of the old saying that a prosecutor can indict a ham sandwich, Hewitt asked Trump: “I’m just asking, if there is such a prosecutor and they indict you, would that deter you from running for president again?”
Trump responded:
“I don’t think the people of the United States would stand for it. And, as you know, if a thing like that happened, I would have no prohibition against running, you know that…I think if [an indictment] happened, I think you’d have problems in this country the likes of which perhaps we’ve never seen before. I don’t think the people of the United States would stand for it.”
Hewitt then asked, “What kinds of problems, Mr. President?”
Trump responded:
“I think they’d have big problems, big problems. I just don’t think they’d stand for it. They will not sit still and stand for this ultimate of hoaxes.”
