(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – Congressman Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) threatened to kill former Fox News commentator Tucker Carlson during what he thought was a private moment after an interview with GB News.
The explosive comment came after Crenshaw criticized Carlson’s stance on Ukraine aid during an interview.
When interviewer Steven Edginton asked if Crenshaw had ever met Tucker, the congressman responded with unexpected hostility, declaring Carlson “the worst human being” and adding that if they ever met, he would “f–king kill him” – emphasizing it was not a joke.
The outburst highlights the deepening rift between establishment Republicans like Crenshaw, who support continued military aid to Ukraine.
At the same time, America First conservatives aligned with Carlson, who questioned why billions of taxpayer dollars are being sent overseas while domestic issues remain unresolved.

“Tucker doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Tucker likes to visit Moscow and talk about how great the grocery stores are so I don’t really take his advice very seriously,” Crenshaw said during the interview.
After Edginton shared the hot-mic clip on X, it quickly went viral, prompting reactions from across the conservative landscape.
Representative MTG (R-GA) questioned Crenshaw about the threat, to which he dismissively replied, “LOL, no. ”
A spokesperson later claimed that the comment was not serious. The damage control appeared insufficient as conservatives rallied behind Carlson.
The conflict stems from fundamentally different visions of America’s role in global affairs.
Carlson has criticized Crenshaw as the “single-most left-wing” Republican in Congress and mockingly referred to him as “Eye Patch McCain” – referencing both Crenshaw’s war injury and his hawkish foreign policy views reminiscent of the late Senator John McCain.
Never one to back down from a fight, Carlson responded to Crenshaw’s threat with a direct challenge:
“Why don’t you come sit for an interview and we’ll see how you do? I’ll send you my address, @DanCrenshawTX.”
Moreover, this incident reflects a larger battle within the GOP between traditional interventionist foreign policy advocates and the growing America First movement that prioritizes domestic interests.
Crenshaw, who serves on the House Intelligence Committee, has frequently criticized members of his own party for questioning continued funding for Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Carlson’s recent trip to Moscow has made him a target for establishment Republicans who see unwavering support for Ukraine as essential to American foreign policy interests.
For conservative voters watching this public feud unfold, the conflict represents more than personal animosity – it is about which vision for America’s future will prevail: continued global military engagement or a refocusing on America’s borders, economy, and citizens.
