Did These 17 Members of Congress Do The Right Thing?

(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – Yesterday, in a rare moment of bipartisanship in the United States House of Representatives, Republicans and Democrats overwhelmingly joined forces in opposition to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine and passed legislation that allows a Russian oil ban and approves additional sanctions against the Kremlin.

In recent memory, it was the most lopsided vote from two parties who rarely agree about anything as they usually play to the extremes of their respective parties.

Still, 17 members opposed the bill, and political science junkies are hotly debating how that opposition will play back home in their congressional districts, given that all polls show the American people strongly oppose Putin and are in favor of banning the purchase of Russian energy products.

The members of the United States House of Representatives who voted against the bill that allows a Russian oil ban and approves additional sanctions against the Kremlin for the attack on Ukraine are:

Democrats: Ilhan Omar and Cori Bush.

Republicans: Andy Biggs, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Louie Gohmert, Dan Bishop, Glenn Grothman, Lauren Boebert, Tom Tiffany, Matt Gaetz, Paul Gosar, Clay Higgins, Scott DesJarlais, Madison Cawthorn, Bill Posey, Chip Roy, and Thomas Massie.
