(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – In a powerful declaration that makes good sense to millions of Americans, Michigan GOP Senate candidate Mike Rogers has stated that the GOP is poised for a victory in the November election that will be “too big to rig,” i.e., so significant that it will thwart any potential manipulation of the election results.
During his appearance on NewsNation’s “The Hill Sunday,” when questioned about the possibility of recurring claims of election fraud, Rogers confidently declared, “Here’s what we are doing … We are going to make this too big to rig.”
Elaborating on his campaign strategy, Rogers mentioned, “We are coming from the UP [Upper Peninsula] of Michigan, we’re overperforming all the way downstate till we get to the southeast part of Michigan, and we’re engaging people on the issues.”
He emphasized that the election’s focus will be economic, stating, “This is going to be not a black or white election. It’s going to be a green election. People are hurting.”
NewsNation anchor Chris Stirewalt also questioned Rogers, a former congressman, about his concerns over electoral integrity both in the past and for the upcoming election, The Hill reports.
“I think there are anomalies in every single election all over the country that we have to worry about, absolutely, and I’ve said that from day one, including when I had my very first election where they found a bag of ballots under a clerk’s desk, and I won the closest race in the country in 2000,” the Republican stated.
“We all know what happens. So, what we’re trying to do is, can we make it so that we don’t have to worry about finding a bag of ballots somewhere in the middle of the night with the seal broken?” he asked.
Rogers’s remarks followed a post by former President Trump on Truth Social, where he threatened legal actions against attorneys, political donors, and operatives involved in deceitful election activities.
Trump stated, “CEASE & DESIST,” and continued, “I, together with many Attorneys and Legal Scholars, am watching the Sanctity of the 2024 Presidential Election very closely because I know, better than most, the rampant Cheating and Skullduggery that has taken place by the Democrats in the 2020 Presidential Election.”
Highlighting the need for electoral reforms, Rogers criticized the management of elections in Democrat-controlled states.
“This questioning of the integrity of elections is a huge problem for the country, all of us. And my argument is they ought to make it easier to vote and harder to cheat. That’s not what the states have been doing — Democrat-controlled states — have been opening it up, making it a little bit less transparent if you will,” he elaborated.
