(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – Elon Musk wants to help Make America Great Again, as the Tesla CEO and social media platform X owner revealed he is willing to work in GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump’s administration if offered a role.
Musk made this known through a post on X (see below), where he shared an image of himself at a podium labeled “D.O.G.E.,” which stood for “Department of Government Efficiency.” He captioned the photo, “I am willing to serve.”
This announcement followed a recent online discussion between Musk and Trump.
In it, both figures touched on various issues, including government spending, economic trends, rising grocery prices and their views on the current presidential leadership, or lack thereof.
Additionally, Musk suggested creating a “government efficiency commission” to reduce unnecessary government expenses and “ensure” the effective use of taxpayer money.
“I think it would be great to just have a government efficiency commission that takes a look at these things and just ensures that the taxpayer money, the taxpayers’ hard-earned money, is spent in a good way,” Musk stated.
“And I’d be happy to help out on such a commission if it were formed,” he added.
Moreover, Musk voiced concerns about the U.S. government’s spending habits, pointing out a significant increase in the national deficit.
“We’re currently adding, I think, a trillion dollars to the deficit every roughly every 100 days,” he noted.
“And the interest payments on the national debt have now exceeded the defense budget. It’s on the order of a trillion dollars, and it keeps growing,” Musk warned.
According to the Peter G. Peterson Foundation’s national debt clock, the national debt stands at approximately $35 trillion.
