(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – In a bid to soothe the nerves of antsy advertisers while not shunning those who’ve felt Twitter had become a platform opposed to conservative and libertarian content, Elon Musk, who will soon be the owner of Twitter, tweeted a statement today to reassure advertisers and users alike that the social media platform will not become a “free-for-all hellscape” while catering to just one viewpoint.
Musk, the billionaire entrepreneur who intends to take Twitter private once he owns it, had previously encouraged hopes among conservatives and libertarians that he will not be as restrictive about the content posted to Twitter as the current management team.
Now, Musk may be receiving pushback from advertisers who, after all, pay the bills that keep the lights turned on at Twitter.
Because of that pushback, Musk tweeted the following (see screenshots of his tweet) in what appears to be an attempt to soothe the concerns of advertisers while also assuring conservatives and libertarians:
