(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – As the circumstances on the ground become more ominous, one Ukrainian soldier was heard on a radio shouting, “Here they come!”
The soldier is part of an advance scout team of the Ukrainian military currently tasked with observing the approach of a massive Russian convoy – some say 40 miles log – headed directly toward Kyiv, the capital city of Ukraine.
As CNBC notes:
“Russia appears to be advancing in its invasion of Ukraine with satellite imagery indicating that a huge convoy — some 40 miles (65 kilometers) long — of Russian military vehicles is heading toward Ukraine’s capital of Kyiv…
“In some parts of the convoy the vehicles are traveling three or four abreast on the road, although in other images the vehicles are seen further apart, in single file. The distance along the road is approximately 40 miles.”
As for the intent of the Russian convoy:
“‘We have every indication that they still want to take Kyiv, that they are advancing on the ground and trying to get closer,’ a senior Defense official told CNBC…”
Still, as you’ll see in the tweet below, veteran and highly respected foreign correspondent Richard Engle reports the convoy may be struggling with both food and fuel shortages that are slowing its approach and calling into question its fighting capacity.

Sr defense official: Status of column of Russian tanks towards Kyiv:
– “It is not exactly moving with great speed. They continue to be bogged down coming down from the north to get to Kyiv.”
– The US is seeing fuel and food shortages among the Russian military. @ckubeNBC
