(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – In a declaration exposing her true face and her seeming animosity to vital US ally Israel, Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris has attacked the Jewish State over the Israeli military’s counterattack against vicious Islamist terrorists in Gaza, the Hamas group.
In a recent escalation in Gaza City, an Israeli airstrike targeted a facility reported to be a Hamas command and control center situated within a school complex.
This operation, part of a broader Israeli military strategy, took place over the weekend and aimed at militants allegedly involved in planning attacks against Israel.
The Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris, expressed concern regarding the toll on civilians, stating there are “far too many” civilian casualties in the ongoing Gaza conflict, as cited by The New York Post and Newsmax.
Hamas officials have claimed that the airstrike resulted in the deaths of over 90 individuals, many of whom were displaced families seeking refuge within the school complex.
Contrarily, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) contend that the strike was precise, targeting 19 members from Hamas and Islamic Jihad present in the command center, thus refuting the higher casualty numbers suggested by Hamas.
During a campaign event in Phoenix, Vice President Harris affirmed Israel’s right to defend itself against Hamas, but emphasized the nation’s “important responsibility” to minimize civilian harm.
She reiterated her concern about the high civilian death toll, declaring that “far too many” civilians had been killed “yet again.”
The Israeli military has challenged the casualty figures provided by Hamas, labeling them as “exaggerated” and asserting that the airstrike killed 19 terrorists.
The IDF has not provided specific details on civilian casualties but has defended the precision and efficacy of the strike.
Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari of the IDF criticized the Hamas-provided figures, arguing that they do not correspond with the IDF’s intelligence, the type of munitions employed, or the strike’s accuracy.
This military action is part of a larger campaign by the Israeli army to dismantle Hamas infrastructure following the October 7 terrorist attacks on Israel.
These attacks resulted in approximately 1,400 deaths and the abduction of around 250 individuals, marking a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas.
