(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – Angered that Texas Governor Greg Abbott has taken matters into his own hands when it comes to protecting his state from the ongoing flood of illegal immigrants crossing from Mexico, Vice President Kamala Harris — who was appointed by President Joe Biden to solve the illegal immigration crisis on the southern border of the United States — slammed Abbott for “flame-throwing.”
Recounting Harris’ interview on “Face the Nation,” the Daily Mail notes in, “VP Kamala Harris accuses Texas Gov. Greg Abbott of ‘flame throwing’ for defying Biden and ordering arrest of illegal migrants: Suggests the ‘so-called leader should focus on solution not attacks’“:
“Vice President Kamala Harris accused Texas Governor Greg Abbott of ‘flame throwing’ on Sunday after the Republican official directed state law enforcement officers to round up migrants and send them to federal border crossings.
“Abbott signed an executive order on Thursday allowing the Texas National Guard and Texas Department of Public Safety to arrest undocumented migrants and return them to the border.” [emphasis added]
Speaking directly to Abbotts’ order and then going after former President Donald Trump, Harris stated:
“‘I would suggest that so-called leaders focus on solutions instead of attacks if they really are concerned about a problem, and that includes on the issue of immigration,’ Harris responded.
“In a direct jab at Donald Trump, she said the previous presidential administration created ‘a badly broken’ immigration system.” [emphasis added]
Meanwhile, Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) recorded 239,416 migrant encounters in May as the onslaught of illegal aliens crossing into the United States remains at record high levels.
