Kamala Attends WHAT Event?

(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – Vice President Kamala Harris and a delegation of U.S. officials attended the inauguration of Honduras’ socialist President-elect who has anti-semitic ties, Xiomara Castro.

The Honduran President-elect’s inauguration was held on Thursday after she achieved victory on a socialist platform. The inauguration was be attended by Rep. Raul Ruiz (D-CA) and U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Administrator Samantha Power, among others, according to a report by CNN.

Following the President-elect’s win, Harris maintained an open line of communication with Castro, taking a call in December that, according to Harris’ spokeswoman Sabrina Singh, was intended to “deepen the partnership between the United States and Honduras.”

Castro’s victory will be one of the firsts for Honduras. The conservative nation has not had a leader elected on a socialist platform, nor have they had a woman in the role.

Yet the most significant factor is not Castro making Honduran history; instead, it’s her husband, former Honduran President Mel Zelaya. In 2009, the wealthy landowner was deposed as President by a military coup.

The former Honduran President also had a prominent role in Castro’s election bid, serving as campaign manager. As a polarizing figure in Honduran politics, Zelaya –– an ally of Cuban dictator Fidel Castro –– was deposed when he tried to introduce the Venezuelan socialist President Hugo Chávez’s policies to the population of 9 million.

He also claimed that Israeli mercenaries were torturing him through high-frequency radiation.

Another eyebrow-raising aspect of Castro’s election is her choice of running mate. Salvador Nasralla, First Vice President-elect, has made distasteful remarks about Israel and Jews.

Nasralla claimed that outgoing President Juan Orlando Hernández’s boss was “the government of Israel,” following remarks he made in an earlier debate where he stated Jews control the global money supply. Both events took place in 2020.

But the First Vice President-elect isn’t the only one with concerning views about Jews. His wife also had to issue an apology to the Latin American Jewish Congress after stating during an interview that “Hitler was a great leader.”

Vice President Kamala Harris has yet to address her presence at the inauguration.
