Kamala Desperate To Save Democrats

Vice President Kamala Harris

(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – According to a report by The Hill, Vice President Kamala Harris will be spending more time on the road in the coming weeks and months.

A source familiar with the situation told the publication that as COVID-19 cases continue to decline, Harris would be traveling around the country, championing the Biden administration’s successes.

Issues Harris will discuss on her trips include infrastructure, the expansion of broadband access, and President Biden’s executive orders.

According to sources with insider knowledge of the Vice President’s schedule, Harris begins her efforts crisscrossing the nation with a trip to Louisiana, with another domestic trip in the works for next week.

Her latest schedule is indicative of pre-pandemic scheduling, with domestic travel being ramped up in the run-up to November’s midterms.

Democratic strategist, Eddie Vale, said that although the “Cabinet has been doing a good job hitting the road as much as possible,” a secretary couldn’t “bring the star power and local media attention as Vice President Harris can.”

He also mentioned that given the effects of many of the administration’s “accomplishments, especially from the infrastructure bill” kicking in, Harris’s timing for travel is perfect. Vale said that Harris could now share “specific… examples in local communities of how they will be benefiting.”

Harris will also be holding larger events across the country, including at the White House, a stark contrast to her time as Vice President, where the largest event she’s hosted took place last month. In the 140-strong crowd in Newark, N.J. Harris discussed the city’s replacement of lead pipes.

These trips could also help Harris improve her dismal approval ratings.

A CBS News poll revealed Harris had a 44 percent approval rating in January, Biden achieved the same. The survey concluded, “people tend to approve or disapprove of them in tandem.”
