(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – In a recent interview caught on video, United States Congressman Adam Kinzinger, a Republican from Illinois who is not seeking reelection this fall, said that he and others would “move heaven and earth to ensure [Donald Trump] doesn’t win” if Trump is the Republican nominee for president in 2024.
Kinzinger also seemed to attempt to separate himself and who he believes are pro-American Republicans from former President Donald Trump and Trump’s brand of Republicans.

Asked if he’ll run for president in 2024, Kinzinger states:
“Well, I don’t know if I’m interested in it. It’s not something I’m pursuing. I want our party to be better. I want this country to be better. In terms of, yeah, I think somebody will carry the torch of what I call actually pro-American Republicanism. I don’t know who that necessarily will be, I’m focusing on the country first. There’s a lot of desire out there for something different. But look, if Donald Trump gets the Republican nomination, there are many of us that will move heaven and earth to ensure he doesn’t win. I think that’s the most important thing. He cannot be president again.”
