LGBTQ Activists: ‘We’re Coming for Your Children’

(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – Angering millions of conservative Americans across the country, during the annual Drag March in New York City Friday, LGBTQ activists sparked controversy by chanting, “We’re here, we’re queer, we’re coming for your children” at Tompkins Square Park in the East Village. Many of the activists donned vivid attire and clothing as part of the city’s Pride Month festivities.

A video capturing the march portrays the participants enjoying themselves and joining in the provocative chant, which even included a topless woman dancing.

An alternate chant was also heard: “We’re here, we’re queer, we’re not going shopping.”

The march concluded at the renowned Stonewall Inn in Greenwich Village.

The contentious chant drew criticism from many prominent conservatives as the video circulated on social media.

Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) tweeted, “This movement grooms minors to have mastectomies and castration and fuels a multi billion dollar medical child abuse industry,” in reaction to the video. She further urged passing the Protect Children’s Innocity Act, a bill proposing to make gender-affirming care for minors a criminal act, adding, “Let kids be kids.”

Jenna Ellis, an attorney who was briefly part of ex-President Donald Trump’s legal team, cryptically tweeted, “Remember that thing they said they totally are not doing?” Conservative podcaster Graham Allen commented, “This is what EVIL looks like….”

Several internet users suggested that the chant was likely intended as a tongue-in-cheek response to accusations from conservatives linking the drag community with pedophilia.

One user noted, “The intention is to provoke.” Another voiced disappointment, saying, “Sadly – this will continue to deteriorate the view of the gay community who fought so hard to be accepted. This is not accepted.”

New York will wrap up its Pride Month celebrations with a massive parade Sunday, marking the 1969 Stonewall Riots—a significant event in American LGBTQ history.
