Liz Cheney: ‘I Was Wrong’

(ReclaimingAmerica.net) Congresswoman Liz Cheney (R-Wyoming) now says she was wrong. But, what she now says she was wrong about will probably not win her any fans or voters from the Christian Right.

Did she admit that she was wrong about Donald Trump? No

Did she admit that she was wrong to vote to impeach Donald Trump? No.

Did she admit that she was wrong to accept House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s appointment to the Select Committee now investigating the January 6th riot that took place at the United States Capitol? No.

So, what did Congresswoman Liz Cheney feel the need to go on national television and declare she was wrong about? Gay Marriage. Yes, gay marriage.

Cheney now says she was wrong to oppose gay marriage and that she now wholeheartedly supports gay marriage.

Specifically, Cheney said that when she previously and strongly came out against gay marriage, even though her sister has been married to her same-sex partner since 2012, she was wrong. She went on to say, “I love my sister very much. I love her family very much. And I was wrong. It’s a very personal issue, and very personal for my family. I believe that my dad (Dick Cheney is pro-gay marriage) was right. And my sister and I have had that conversation.”
