Manchin Vows THIS As He Leaves Office (Video)

(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – As if his other troubles weren’t enough to ruin his reelection bid, Joe Biden now faces the threat of Senator Joe Manchin as the West Virginia moderate Democrat has attacked the president for succumbing to the far-left, and has vowed to try to mobilize the “radical middle.”

Manchin’s latest promise comes after he recently announced he wouldn’t seek reelection for a third term as a West Virginia senator.

He also indicated he would consider running for president of the United States as a third-party candidate on behalf of a platform unifying centrist and independent voters.

The senator made national headlines during President Joe Biden’s first two years in office by blocking some of the most radical-leftist pieces of legislation proposed by fellow Democrats and the White House.

In a new interview with John Catsimatidis on “The Cats Roundtable” on WABC 770 AM, Manchin expressed his concerns about the current direction of President Joe Biden’s leadership and the overall state of political affairs in Washington.

Manchin blasted Biden for veering too far towards the left, a shift he sees as contradictory to the unity Biden was expected to foster.

“Joe Biden has been pulled so far to the left, the extreme left, as far as liberal. Makes no sense at all. It’s not the person we thought was gonna bring the country together,” the senator said.

Manchin also spoke about the deepening divisions in Washington, attributing them to a business model that benefits from such polarization.

“Washington wants you and I to be divided, and the rest of America to be divided because it’s a better business model for ’em,” he said.

“So, I came to the conclusion I can’t change — I’ve been here 13 years. I’m not going to change it from within. And I’ve decide[d] to go around and see if I can mobilize the radical middle,” the lawmaker said.

Manchin previously indicated openness to a potential presidential run, emphasizing his commitment to serving the country.

“I will do anything I can to help my country, and you’re saying, ‘Does that mean you would consider it?’ Absolutely. Every American should consider it if they’re in a position to help save the country,” he told NBC’s “Meet the Press” host Kristen Welker.

Furthermore, Manchin disclosed that he is contemplating leaving the Democratic Party. In a CNN interview, he lamented the focus of both major political parties on gaining a majority, often at the expense of the people’s interests.

“The business of politics has gotten so big because the business model is a Democrat business and a Republican business, and it’s really forgotten about the people to a certain extent,” he said.

“All they want is 51 or greater to be the majority, and then they do so much damage trying to get there,” Manchin concluded.
