Media Attempts To Brainwash Voters

(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – Liberal media outlets — including ABC, CBS, and MSNBC — seemingly agree that if the GOP were to reclaim power, democracy would end, a sentiment shared by Democratic leaders.

Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, former executive director of the Lincoln Project, Fred Wellman, shared his views: “Norms and traditions are going to end our democracy.”

Later on Tuesday, a column by Jennifer Rubin was published in The Washington Post. Rubin warned that COVID-19’s impact could spell the demise of U.S. democracy.

Rubin wrote that “trust in U.S. institutions” had been on the decline as a result of “government scandals, economic dislocation, increased inequality, and social media.”
She added that “evidence is growing that the coronavirus pandemic” made the phenomenon “worse.”

Rubin has been warning about U.S. democracy fragility for months. In December, she predicted that following moderate Democrat Sen. Joe Manchin’s (W.Va.) vote against Biden’s Build Back Better plan, the country’s democracy would hurtle to its demise.

Sunday, Rolling Stone published a similar objection to Manchin’s Build Back Better vote in a piece titled, “How Joe Manchin Knifed the Democrats – and Bailed on Saving Democracy.”

Democrats have been given airtime by their media allies to share their views that Republican laws — particularly those implemented by former President Donald Trump — are the reason for the “end of democracy.”

These alarmist views are then reiterated by pundits and network analysts who agree with these statements.

Recently, during a panel discussion on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Donny Deutsch — a marketing professional and frequent guest on the show –claimed that Democrats would have to understand what wins an election, otherwise, “democracy is over.”

He claimed his statements weren’t an over-exaggeration, saying, “If we don’t get this right this time, it’s over. You put McCarthy back in, you put Trump back in, our democracy is over.”

In December 2021, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton echoed those sentiments in an episode of “Sunday Sitdown” on TODAY, where she told Willie Geist that Republicans claiming victory “could be the end of our democracy.”

However, Clinton is not alone in her fear-mongering claims. Others in liberal media, including MSNBC’s Nicole Wallace, Joy Reid, and Rachel Maddow and ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, shared similar statements about Republican victories equating to the “end of democracy.”
