(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – Based on a brand new poll, former President Donald Trump would demolish Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in a battle for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination.
According to CNBC in a piece headlined “Trump would beat DeSantis in 2024, as Biden approval rate remains underwater, new poll finds“:
“Ex-President Donald Trump would defeat Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis by a wide margin in a hypothetical 2024 Republican presidential primary, according to a new poll.
“Trump received 55% of Republican registered voters’ support, while DeSantis, his potential rival for the White House nomination, received just 25%, the Emerson College poll found.
“That survey was taken last week on the heels of Trump’s announcement that he would run for the White House in two years, and after DeSantis crushed his Democratic opponent Charlie Crist in the Florida governor’s race.” [emphasis added]
The same poll has bad news for President Joe Biden.
“On the Democratic side, President Joe Biden’s approval rating was just 39%, while 53% disapprove of the job he is doing, according to the poll.” [emphasis added]
