(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – According to spy reports out of US ally South Korea, North Korea’s nuclear-armed dictator Kim Jong-un has gained extra weight as he spends his sleepless nights drinking and smoking and becoming more unhinged.
In its latest update on the Communist leader’s health, the South Korean National Intelligence Service revealed he was “estimated to weigh over 140 kilograms,” or 308 pounds, The New York Post reports.
Based on AI (artificial intelligence) analysis of Kim Jong-un’s recent photographs, the intelligence report comes after 2021 claims he lost almost 50 pounds for health reasons.
41-year-old Kim Jong-un is 5 feet 6 inches. His father and fellows Communist dictator, Kim Jong-il, died of a heart attack in 2011 at the age of 69 or 70.
Yoo Sang-bum, a member of South Korea’s parliamentary intelligence committee, said at a briefing that the country’s National Intelligence Service was “intensely” monitoring the North Korean dictator’s health.
Yoo informed further that Kim Jong-un was hoarding American imports of Marlboro cigarettes and “medications such as zolpidem, for the treatment of insomnia.”
He added the Communist leader seemed to be “engaging in excessive alcohol and tobacco consumption,” as cited by Yonhap and The New York Post.
The South Korean lawmaker declared Kim was succumbing to a “vicious cycle” of alcohol, smoking, and “significant sleep disorders.”
“He appeared tired with clear dark circles around his eyes during his public appearance on May 16,” the intelligence committee member said.
In March, Kim stated through North Korea’s state media that he stayed up at least until 5 am as he resorts to all-nighters for his work, notes the Yonhap news agency.
Yoo added Kim Jong-un might be suffering from “stress-induced dermatitis,” as evidenced by “scratches and bruises” around his arms.
In the early periods of the COVID-19 pandemic, Kim’s absences from public life sparked reports that he was in a coma or dead.
The new information about his weight and health and alleged hoarding of Western luxury imports come against the backdrop of North Korea’s deteriorating food shortage.
Thus, the dictatorship has seen hunger deaths triple this year, while suicides have shot up by 40%, according to Yonhap.
