The 85-year-old California Democrat’s inflammatory accusations represent the latest desperate attempt to demonize Trump.
Speaking at a Congressional Black Caucus conference this week, Waters unleashed a series of unhinged allegations against the President.
The long-time Trump critic claimed that he is actively planning for armed conflict and suggested he has been preparing for it since before the last election.
Waters’ outrageous allegations come while Democrat-run cities continue to struggle with crime, inflation hammers American families, and illegal immigration reaches crisis levels.
Instead of addressing these real problems, Waters appears focused on fabricating new attacks against Trump.
The congresswoman pushed her conspiracy theory further by suggesting Trump is connected to shadowy “right-wing organizations” preparing for conflict.
Yet, she offered no evidence to support these wild claims, which appear designed to divide Americans further rather than address the policy failures of the past administration.
“I want to know about all of those right-wing organizations that he’s connected with who are training up in the hills somewhere and targeting what communities they’re going to attack,” she stated.
Waters’ history of inflammatory rhetoric against conservatives is well-documented. In 2018, she infamously encouraged supporters to harass Trump administration officials in public places.
Now, she claims to support “nonviolence” while simultaneously accusing her political opponents of planning a civil war.
Moreover, Waters even suggested that Trump is deliberately outlining “revenge” plans against his enemies, another claim made without substantiation.
She continued her fear-mongering by raising concerns about delayed Social Security checks and support for nonprofits, apparently trying to frighten vulnerable seniors.
“And so when that happens, what does Trump expect? Oh, I believe he expects violence. I believe he expects confrontation. I believe he’s working toward a civil war,” she claimed.

While Waters spreads these divisive conspiracy theories, MAGA supporters remain focused on addressing the real issues facing Americans: securing the border, lowering inflation, protecting constitutional rights, and restoring America’s standing in the world.
Ironically, Waters’ inflammatory accusations about civil war come from the same political party that has weaponized the justice system against their leading political opponent and labeled concerned parents at school board meetings as potential “domestic terrorists.”
