Republicans Take the Lead – Reclaiming America

Republicans Take the Lead

( – While many Americans wish it weren’t the case, the reality in politics – especially politics at the national level – is that it takes money, and lots of it, to compete and win.

Does money always determine who the winner will be? No, not always. But, in the overwhelming majority of House and Senate races, the candidate and the political party with the most money at their disposal is the eventual winner.

Given that reality, conservatives and the Republican Party should be happy today. After all, based on figures just released by the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), the Republican Party is currently in the lead when it comes to fundraising this year just as both political parties prepare to compete for control of the House and Senate as will be determined in next year’s mid-term congressional races.

In fact, according to the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), it had the best off-year fundraising September in its history, having raised $12.2 million for just that month. And, for that quarter (July through September), it raised $25.8 million. Equally significant, if not more so, the Republicans have raised more than $105 million in 2021 and have a whopping $65 million in the bank as cash-on-hand. That’s more than three times as much as they had in the last off-year cycle of 2019.

And yes, all of those figures are far better than what the Democrats have collected at this point.

And while it’s true that, as mentioned above, money more often than not translates to victory in politics, it’s also true that it’s an excellent sign of how much enthusiasm a political party is generating for its candidates. That enthusiasm then translates to voters of the party getting out and voting on election day.

So, while November of 2022 is still more than a year away, Republicans should feel very confident about victory next year based on the dollars rolling into the party.
