Shocking Arrest In Murder of BigTech Bigwig

(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – The San Francisco police have arrested a tech executive – 38-year-old Nima Momeni – as a suspect for the lethal stabbing of BigTech entrepreneur Bob Lee in the city on April 4.

The arrest for the murder of 43-year-old Lee, the founder of Cash App, occurred early Thursday morning in Momeni’sMomeni’s home in Emeryville, California, The San Francisco Chronicle reported.

Lee’sLee’s killing focused public attention on lawlessness in Democrat-run San Francisco, with reports revealing that onlookers refused to aid the tech entrepreneur while he was still alive and begging for help.

According to reports, Momeni owned a Bay Area IT consulting company. His LinkedIn profile previously described him as “an information technology consultant and entrepreneur for a company called Expand IT.”

San Francisco DA Brooke Jenkins charged the suspect with murder. Momeni allegedly stabbed Lee twice in the chest at 2:30 am in the wealthy Rincon Hill neighborhood.

San Francisco Police Chief Bill Scott told reporters on Thursday that the suspect and the murdered tech executive knew each other.

According to a family friend of Lee’sLee’s, the victim and Momeni “were hanging out together” for hours before the latter’slatter’s killing.

There were reports that they became acquainted through Momeni’sMomeni’s sister, who was recently introduced to Lee.

Nima Momeni was scheduled to appear in court on Friday. He was revealed to have a “minor police record.”

In 2004, Momeni was charged with a misdemeanor for driving intoxicated. In 2011, he was charged with two more misdemeanors – driving with a suspended license and selling a switchblade knife.

The knife charge was dropped, but he pleaded no contest to the other one and was sentenced to 10 days in jail, three years of probation, and a $900 fine.

People who know Momeni expressed shock at the possibility that he may have stabbed Bob Lee to death.

“I was completely taken aback. It didn’tdidn’t seem in character with what he’s accused of doing — at least in my interactions with him,” said Akash Sawhney, who met Momeni in 2015 while working for a tech startup.

Sawhney also revealed that he connected with Momeni because both were Zoroastrian, an ancient monotheistic religion that emerged in Iran before Islam.

He added that Momeni and his family had emigrated to the United States from Iran.

Lee was fatally stabbed close to Google’sGoogle’s office and Oracle Park, reigniting debate about worsening public safety in San Francisco.

“Violent crime in SF is horrific, and even if attackers are caught, they are often released immediately,” Elon Musk wrote on Twitter, tagging the DA.

During Thursday’sThursday’s press conference, San Francisco’sFrancisco’s Democrat Mayor, London Breed, commended the police on how they handled the case.

“We know that this has been a high-profile case, and there has been a lot of speculation, and a lot of things said about our city and crime in the city,” she declared.
