( – In a bombshell development, prosecutors unveiled evidence they plan to use to support their assertion that Hunter Biden lied about his drug use on a federal firearm purchase form in 2018.

This evidence includes 75 pages of text messages that underscore Hunter’s battle with substance abuse.

As the June 3 trial in Wilmington, Delaware, approaches, prosecutors informed the presiding judge about the evidence they plan to present and the witnesses they intend to summon.

These witnesses include several women with whom Hunter had relationships. The text messages submitted with the filing reveal disputes about his attempts to become clean, discussions about drug consumption, and images of narcotics or him using crack.

Hunter Biden penned in a message dated October 14, 2018, “I was sleeping on a car smoking crack on 4th street and Rodney.”

On October 13, 2018, he noted he was “off MD Av behind blue rocks stadium waiting for a dealer.”

Although the prosecutors’ filing does not name them, the descriptions clearly indicate that the witnesses include Beau Biden’s widow Hallie Biden and Hunter’s own ex-wife Kathleen Buhle.

Other witnesses are former Delaware State Police Lieutenant Millard Greer, who will testify about how he retrieved Hunter’s firearm from the individual who discovered it in a trash can, and a Starquest Shooters employee who sold Hunter the gun.

The prosecutors wrote:

“In sum, his conduct and admissions evidence his knowledge that he was a user of crack at the time he purchased the gun and while he possessed the gun before it was taken from him. His conduct and admissions also evidence his knowledge that he was a crack addict in 2018 when he bought the gun and possessed it.”

Joe Biden’s son was charged in September by Special Counsel David Weiss with three felony firearm offenses.

Hunter’s lawyers have attempted to have the case dismissed, arguing that the indictment has constitutional issues.

They also claimed the case breaches the terms of a pretrial diversion agreement that was part of his unsuccessful plea bargain, that the special counsel was unlawfully appointed and that Hunter Biden is the victim of spiteful and selective prosecution.

On Monday, Hunter’s lawyers appealed to the Third Circuit Court of Appeals to suspend the trial and reconsider a panel decision that rejected his attempt to dismiss the case.
