(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – The highly conservative Daily Caller website has published the results of a Pew Research Center poll that has shocked many conservatives, Republicans, and, most certainly, supporters of former President Donald J. Trump. While there can be little doubt that Trump remains extremely popular compared to many politicians in both major parties, it does appear that what was once his overwhelming support among Republicans has declined.
According to the Daily Caller, the Pew Research Center poll found that only 44% of Republicans want Trump to run for the presidency again in the 2024 Presidential Election. A significantly greater number, 67%, want Trump to remain a “major national political figure” for years to come. In essence, they want him to remain a kingmaker in the GOP, even if he is not a candidate himself.
POLL: 44% Of Republicans Want A Trump Presidential Bid In 2024 https://t.co/czwzR6AlQ3

Perhaps the most shocking result in the poll was that a full 32% of Republicans don’t want Trump to continue as a national political figure. One out of three Republicans. That number stunned many political observers.
Why do you think only 44% of Republicans want former President Donald J.Trump to run again in the 2024 Presidential Election? Is it because many Republicans believe he’ll be too old at that point? Is it because many Republicans are afraid he will lose again as he did in the 2020 Presidential Election? Is it because many Republicans think it’s time for a new leader like Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, or former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley to step forward? What do you think?
