‘The View’ Hosts: Trump to Blame For Comedian’s Knife Attack

Dave Chappelle

(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – Outraging supporters of former President Donald Trump, two co-hosts of “The View” blamed Trump for comedian Dave Chappelle being attacked by a man with a knife during Chappelle’s performance at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles the other night.

Sunny Hostin, one of the co-hosts of “The View,” said Chappelle was attacked after Trump had “released some incivility around the country.”

The famous comedian was not hurt by the audience member possessing a knife, who tackled Chappelle during his performance at the Hollywood Bowl as part of a Netflix special.

On The View, the hosts debated what happened and why.

Here is some of the dialogue that included Trump being blamed:

“What do you think is happening? I mean, it’s happening on airplanes, it’s happening on street corners,” Whoopi Goldberg asked after playing a video of Chappelle being attacked.

Joy Behar said there could be a series of reasons, including “The pandemic, the opioid crisis, the fact that Trump was out there saying things like, ‘Just knock the hell out of them. I promise you I’ll pay for the legal fees,’ when he had a heckler.”

When a guest host, Lindsey Granger, disagreed with Behar bringing Trump and politics into the discussion, Hostin jumped in to agree with Behar, saying, “I do think Trump unleashed some incivility, at least, in our country.”
