(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – In a new episode of the left’s pandemic dictates, several prominent physicians have been stripped of their medical certifications by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) following their public skepticism regarding the safety and efficacy of COVID mRNA vaccines.
Drs. Pierre Kory and Paul Marik experienced the revocation of their credentials last week after a two-year scrutiny by the ABIM.
These physicians not only expressed doubts about the COVID mRNA vaccines but also advocated for the use of ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine as viable treatments for the virus.
In addition to Drs. Kory and Marik, another medical professional reported that her certification was terminated without prior notification, Slay News reports.
Besides that, various media outlets have portrayed these doctors negatively, labeling them as disseminators of “misinformation.”
According to The Washington Post, despite the medical consensus dismissing its efficacy, these two doctors continued to endorse ivermectin, an antiparasitic drug, as a potential treatment for COVID-19.
Contrary to assertions in The Washington Post, several studies suggest that ivermectin, which has garnered a Nobel Prize, is beneficial not only for COVID-19 but also for other severe illnesses, including cancer.
Both Kory and Marik are founders of the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC), an organization that champions alternative COVID-19 treatments.
The Washington Post, citing anonymous experts, accused the FLCCC of perpetuating misinformation about the pandemic.
An ABIM spokesperson, quoted by MedPageToday, stated that the board generally does not disclose reasons for certification revocations.
Nevertheless, a summary from the ABIM indicated that the conduct of these doctors raises significant concerns regarding patient safety and erodes public and professional trust in the value of ABIM board certification.
In a statement, the FLCCC vehemently disagreed with the ABIM’s decision.
“We believe this decision represents a dangerous shift away from the foundational principles of medical discourse and scientific debate that have historically been the bedrock of medical education associations,” the press release elaborated.
Dr. Marik, speaking to The Defender, expressed his disappointment.
“The bottom line is we’re disappointed because we stand up for the truth. To censor science is to censor progress. Science is based on dialogue and people can have different points of view. That is the principle of science: it’s people having different points of view. We’ve never been in a situation before where physicians who have opposing points of view are silenced,” Marik stated.
