(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – In a welcome endorsement, top CNBC financial host Jim Cramer had some unexpected advice for people worried about their personal finances after Monday’s stock market plunge: “Go with Trump.”

The Dow Jones Industrial Average took a nosedive, closing down 2.6%, while the S&P 500 dropped by 3% and the NASDAQ fell 3.43%.

This market meltdown was sparked by worries of a recession after a discouraging jobs report released last Friday.

Amid the chaos, Cramer and his co-host David Faber discussed the news that attorney and Uber executive Tony West was joining Kamala Harris’ campaign.

“I know Tony. He’s what I regard as a business person. There was no business person really that close to Biden, except for Gina Raimondo, so this is a nice change of paces,” Cramer stated.

Then, he dropped his bombshell advice. “If you’re — if you’re in the stock market, if you care about your paycheck, you go with — you go with Trump, if that’s what you do.”

Faber seemed taken aback. “You do?” he asked, to which Cramer responded, “He wants to cut your taxes.”

However, Faber was not swayed. “My taxes got raised enormously as you know, under the last Trump administration,” he claimed.

Cramer stood his ground. “Well no, he wants to cut taxes,” he insisted.

During his administration, Trump signed a $1.5 trillion tax cut into law, which included reducing the corporate income tax rate to 21%, doubling the child tax credit to $2,000, and also reducing individual tax rates.

According to Trump’s campaign website, “Republicans will make permanent the provisions of the Trump Tax Cuts and Jobs Act that doubled the standard deduction, expanded the Child Tax Credit, and spurred Economic Growth for all Americans.”

“We will eliminate Taxes on Tips for millions of Restaurant and Hospitality Workers and pursue additional Tax Cuts,” it added.
