‘Trump Signs Everywhere’ in This Key State

(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – US Senator John Fetterman, the ailing freshman lawmaker, has sounded the Democrat alarm that Donald Trump still stands strong in Fetterman’s home state of Pennsylvania, with “Trump signs everywhere.”

53-year-old Fetterman (D-PA), who flipped a decades-old GOP seat in the November midterms, was absent from Congress throughout the spring over hospitalizations. During the primaries an earlier year, he suffered a severe stroke on the campaign trail and barely survived.

The Pennsylvania Democrat revealed how worried he was about Trump’s popularity in a New York Times interview discussing the former president’s indictments by the Biden Justice Department and a woke DA in Manhattan.

“It doesn’t matter. I’m a senator, and I’m not sure how many times [Trump]’s been indicted. He’s been impeached twice. Has that changed anything?” Fetterman asked.

“You’re still seeing Trump signs everywhere in Pennsylvania. You have to respect his strength in all of that,” he added, as cited by Breitbart News.

The leftist senator claimed the former president might not be able to get beyond a certain threshold of support in Pennsylvania, but he remained “competitive” in the critical battleground state.

“Trump would be very competitive in Pennsylvania. But Trump has to perform above his ceiling. I think there’s a hard ceiling in Pennsylvania he can’t get past,” Fetterman stated.

He commented on his first six months in the US Senate by blasting the chamber over inefficiency and a focus on culture wars.

“There’s a fixation on a lot of dumb s***,” the Pennsylvania Democrat said.

He described 80-year-old President Joe Biden as “aware” and “sharp,” rejecting public worriers about the latter’s mental acuity and fitness.

“I’m not concerned about his age. And even if I was, who cares? There’s nothing you can do about his age,” the freshman senator said about Biden.

“I’ve spent enough time around him. He’s sharp, he’s aware, he is absolutely up to the task. I’ll be doing whatever his campaign asks of me. I know Pennsylvania, I’ve won Pennsylvania. I’ll be helping with whatever he asks,” Fetterman vowed.

A recent poll by Quinnipiac University found that Trump has a 1-point lead on Biden in Pennsylvania in a potential head-to-head rematch, with 47% to 46%.
