The Houthi-controlled SABA news agency admitted to taking food aid from a World Food Program warehouse without permission, stealing about 20% of the supplies intended for starving families.
The situation has become so dangerous that the United Nations suspended operations in Saada in February due to security concerns after Houthi forces detained UN workers.
One World Food Program staffer has already died while being held in Houthi imprisonment, highlighting the barbarity of this Iranian proxy group.
