Unveiling a bold vision for Gaza after years of armed conflict, President Donald Trump made a stunning announcement during his Middle East tour.

Specifically, the president has proposed that America take over the war-torn territory to establish a “freedom zone.”

Speaking in Qatar, President Trump outlined plans for U.S. involvement that would bring safety and development to Gaza while asserting American leadership in resolving one of the world’s most difficult conflicts.

The president shared his proposal during a business roundtable with Qatari officials.

It represents a dramatic shift in approach to the Palestinian territory that has been devastated by ongoing conflict.

“We are working very hard on Gaza and Gaza has been a territory of death and destruction. I have concepts for Gaza that I think are very good, make it a freedom zone, let the United States get involved and make it just a freedom zone,” President Trump declared.

The plan envisions American forces taking responsibility for security and development in Gaza, with the president expressing personal investment in the concept.

“I’d be proud to have the United States have it, take it, make it a freedom zone,” he stated, emphasizing that “Hamas is going to have to be dealt with” as part of this transformation.

During their meetings, President Trump’s Gaza proposal was discussed with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The president’s plan includes practical considerations such as dismantling unexploded ordnance and creating jobs in the region.

“We’ll own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and all of the other weapons on the site,” President Trump explained.

He highlighted how American expertise could make Gaza safe for development.

The Gaza initiative comes as part of the president’s broader Middle East strategy, which includes a diplomatic approach to Iran’s nuclear program.

“Iran has sort of agreed to the terms they’re not going to make, I call it in a friendly way, nuclear dust,” President Trump.

His administration is pursuing a deal that would have Iran surrender its enriched uranium stockpiles in exchange for lifting U.S. sanctions, potentially avoiding military confrontation.

“I think we’re getting close to maybe doing a deal without having to do this. There are two steps. There’s a very, very nice step and there’s a violent step,” warned President Trump.

The president’s Middle East tour has already yielded significant economic benefits for America.

In Qatar alone, President Trump secured commitments for $1.2 trillion in economic investments, including a massive Boeing deal valued at $96 billion for up to 210 aircraft.

Qatar has also pledged $10 billion to upgrade the U.S. Al Udeid Air Base, strengthening America’s military presence in the region.

While addressing U.S. troops stationed at Al Udeid Air Base, the president reaffirmed his commitment to peace through strength.

He discussed plans for developing a new F-55 warplane and upgrading the F-22 Raptor, ensuring America maintains military superiority while warning potential adversaries.

The president made clear that the Houthi rebels in Yemen would also face decisive U.S. military action if they violated the current ceasefire.
