Ultra-Lefty Comedian Slams ‘Woke Revolution’ and Communism

(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – Leftist comedian Bill Maher, who bills himself as an old-school liberal, attacked the “woke revolution” in today’s America and the supporters of Communism.

In Friday’s episode of his HBO show “Real Time,” Maher ridiculed what he called the “insane arrogance” of radical leftists describing themselves as “the most evolved form of a human,” Newsmax reported.

The comedian condemned those who push Socialist or Communist views on the American public without considering or comprehending their consequences.

“The problem with Communism is they think you can change reality by screaming at it, that you can bend human nature by holding your breath, but that’s the difference between reality and your mommy,” Maher said, causing an outburst of laughter from the audience.

“[President Lincoln] once said, ‘you can repeal all past history, but you still cannot repeal human nature.’ But he’s canceled now, so **** him,” the HBO host said.

The leftist comedian then joked that he had asked Chat GPT, the artificial intelligence bot that got popular recently, whether the “woke revolution” underway in today’s America was any different from the Chinese Communist revolution led by dictator Mao Zedong 74 years ago.

“And Chat GPT said, ‘How long do you have?’” Maher quipped.

“Because again, we have somebody in China who’s willing to do a Page 1 rewrite … of humans. Mao ordered his citizens to throw off ‘The Four Olds’ — old thinking, old culture, old customs, and old habits — so your life would go in the trash bin overnight,” he added.

The comedian then pointed out that Mao murdered millions of his compatriots while forcing the remaining people in the People’s Republic of China to repent and bow to the commands of the Communist regime without any resistance.

“And submit to reeducation, or as we say here in America, ‘Freshman Orientation’” at the college level,” Maher noted

He concluded his monologue by making it clear he was infuriated that grown adults in America would readily give up their freedom of expression – for instance, on the Twitter platform – because they feared getting “canceled” on social media.

Maher reminded his audience of The Beatles’ song “Revolution” from their White Album, which was initially considered a pro-revolution song.

In reality, songwriter John Lennon created it to express his dismay at humans who derived pleasure from robbing others of their freedoms.

“There’s a guy who understood that good intentions can turn into the insane arrogance of thinking your revolution is so ****ing awesome, that your generation is so mind-bendingly improved, that you have bequeathed the world a new kind of human. You’re welcome!” Maher concluded.
