(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – Far-left radical Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has called for a more “aggressive” approach of Congress towards the conservative-led US Supreme Court – including the impeaching of justices.

During a CNN interview Sunday, Ocasio-Cortez, also widely known as AOC, went on an angry rant against the conservative Supreme Court justices, arguing Congress had various tools for “deal[ing] with” them.

AOC’s comments came after two consecutive Supreme Court rulings dealt significant blows to the left’s agenda.

On Thursday, the nation’s highest court ruled that race-based college admission, known as “affirmative action,” was unconstitutional.

Then on Friday, on the last day of its term, the Supreme Court nixed President Joe Biden’s $400 billion student debt forgiveness program by declaring its implementation required approval from the United States Congress.

AOC, a New York Democrat and leader of the far-left “Squad” in the House of Representatives, insisted Congress should be investigating Supreme Court justices for conflicts of interest.

“I believe that if Chief Justice [John G.] Roberts [Jr.] will not come before Congress for an investigation voluntarily, I believe that we should be considering subpoenas, we should be considering investigations,” Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) told the State of the Union program.

In her view, certain justices were “potentially” violating the law – and she singled out conservative Justice Clarence Thomas for a mention.

“We must pass much more binding and stringent ethics guidelines where we see members of the Supreme Court potentially breaking the law, as we saw in the refusal of Clarence Thomas to recuse himself from cases implicating his wife in Jan. 6,” AOC said.

“There also must be impeachment on the table. We have a broad level of tools to deal with misconduct, overreach and abuse of power,” the radical left congresswoman said further.

She reiterated the views of other Democrat politicians, arguing that the Supreme Court was destroying its own “legitimacy” by making the rulings it has made recently.

“The Supreme Court has not been receiving the adequate oversight necessary in order to preserve their own legitimacy,” AOC opined.

“And in the process, they themselves have been destroying the legitimacy of the court, which is profoundly dangerous for our entire democracy,” she concluded.
