(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – In a stunning display of sarcasm and arrogance, Lori Lightfoot, the Democrat Mayor of Chicago, has declared that she would be glad to “drain” the state of Texas of its residents after Republican Texas Governor Greg Abbott started shipping illegal immigrants to her city.

After sending illegal immigrants from Texas to New York City and Washington, DC, Abbott lately began bussing them to Chicago, another Democrat-run major US city.
His program has been designed to raise awareness nationwide about the scope of the illegal immigration crisis at the Southern Border while relieving the migrant strain on Texas’ border communities.
Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, whose city is plagued by spiking crime rates, was at first quick to condemn the arrivals of illegals at Chicago’s Union Station. However, at a press conference at the end of last week, she changed her stance to a more welcoming one – except she spoke as though the arrivals were Texas natives, not illegal immigrants.
“I’m happy to take and drain Texas of all of its residents. I wouldn’t want to live in a state with a governor like that. I certainly wouldn’t want to live in a state where they are doing everything they can to strip people of their basic rights,” the Chicago Mayor told reporters.
“And let’s not forget about what they’ve done to women and others who were seeking reproductive health care,” the Democrat added, as cited by Fox News.
“We’ll rent the buses next time to bring them here,” Lightfoot added.
A Forbes ranking based on change-of-address data ranks Illinois as No. 3 for states left by residents and Texas No. 1 for where people are moving.
As she announced that the 75 illegal immigrants who arrived in Chicago from Texas were primarily from Venezuela, Lori Lightfoot attacked Texas Governor Greg Abbott.
“Let me say loud and clear to Greg Abbott and his enablers in Texas with these continued political stunts, Gov. Abbott has confirmed what unfortunately many of us had known already, that he is a man without any morals, humanity or shame,” Lightfoot said.
Abbott’s office characterized Chicago Mayor Lightfoot as an “absolute hypocrite.”
“Where was her outrage and condemnation of President Biden as he flew planeloads of migrants across the country and dropped them in communities in the cover of night?.. If the mayor wants a solution to this humanitarian crisis, she should stop complaining and call on President Biden to take immediate action to secure the border,” Abbott’s press secretary Renea Eze said.
