(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – Democrats thought they scored a huge win by choosing Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as Kamala Harris’ running mate, but they only showed how the party is steering further to the left.
In a recently unearthed video, Walz’s wife, Gwen Walz, reveals she is a far-left radical who reveled in the chaos during the 2020 Black Lives Matter riots.

During a sit-down interview, Gwen Walz stated she left her windows open amid the demonstrations in order to “smell the burning tires” during the unrest.
Talking on KSTP-TV’s “5 Eyewitness News Nightcast,” Gwen described the scent of the riots as a “touchstone” moment for her and emphasized the impact and reality of the events in Minneapolis.
Her comments resurfaced and sparked discussion after Harris chose Governor Walz as her running mate for the 2024 election.
The city experienced significant disorder in the wake of George Floyd’s death in 2020, with multiple days of looting and buildings being set on fire.
Amid this backdrop, Governor Walz’s decision not to deploy the National Guard immediately came under sharp scrutiny.
He expressed concerns that such a move might worsen tensions, noting, “I want to just be clear there’s philosophically an argument to be made that an armed presence on the ground in the midst of where we just had a police killing is seen as a catalyst.”
Both Governor Walz’s decision and Gwen Walz’s remarks have been highlighted by Republican critics and others, especially in light of the recent announcement that Governor Walz joined the presidential ticket.
