WATCH: Trump Will Arrest THIS ‘Nut Job’?!

Donald Trump

In a new bold warning from Donald Trump, the president has threatened to arrest NYC mayoral front-runner Zohran Mamdani, branding him a “total nut job” and “pure, true communist” following the latter’s Democrat primary victory over Andrew Cuomo.

The President warned America would have its first communist mayor if New Yorkers elect Mamdani, who has vowed to block ICE operations and implement radical socialist policies.

Trump didn’t mince words when discussing the self-described democratic socialist who could become New York City’s first Muslim mayor.

In a blistering critique, Trump expressed disbelief at New York voters potentially backing such an extreme candidate.

“Frankly, I’ve heard he’s a total nut job, I think the people in New York are crazy because they go this route. I think they’re crazy. We will have a communist in the for the first time, really a pure, true communist. He wants to operate the grocery stores. The department stores. What about the people that are there? I think it’s crazy,” Trump said.

Mamdani, currently leading the Democrat primary with 56% of the vote over former Governor Andrew Cuomo, has outlined a radical leftist agenda that includes removing ICE from New York City, establishing government-run grocery stores, and significantly increasing taxes on wealthy residents.

His platform has earned endorsements from far-left figures like Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

When informed about Mamdani’s pledge to block ICE arrests and deportations, Trump’s response was direct: “Well, then we’ll have to arrest him.”

The President emphasized that federal law supersedes local authority, suggesting a potential showdown if Mamdani follows through with his promise to obstruct immigration enforcement.

“I think he’s terrible. He’s a communist. The last thing we need is a communist. I said there will never be socialism in the United States, I think he’s bad news and I think I’m going to have a lot of fun with him, watching him, because he has to come right to this building to get his money. Don’t worry, he’s not going to run away with anything,” Trump stated.

Mamdani’s controversial background includes co-founding a Students for Justice in Palestine chapter and participating in a hunger strike demanding a Gaza ceasefire.

He has refused to denounce the phrase “Globalize the intifada” and has engaged in anti-police rhetoric that has alarmed many moderate Democrats.

Evidence of Mamdani’s communist leanings surfaced in a 2021 conference video where he openly supported “seizing the means of production.”

His platform includes implementing property tax increases in wealthy neighborhoods, with the candidate previously stating that “billionaires shouldn’t exist.”

Even some Democrat representatives, including Tom Suozzi and Laura Gillen, have distanced themselves from Mamdani’s extreme proposals.

His lack of support from top New York Democrats like Governor Kathy Hochul signals concern within the party about his radical agenda.

President Trump vowed to monitor Mamdani closely should he win the mayoral election scheduled for November 4, promising that federal funding would be contingent on compliance with national laws and priorities.

“Look, we don’t need a communist in this country, but if we have one, I’m going to be watching over him very carefully on behalf of the nation,” Trump said.
