Tina Cooper and Ronnie Oxendine have pleaded guilty to charges tied to an assassination attempt on Trump during his 2024 presidential campaign.

Their admitted conspiracy raises serious concerns about the safety of our leaders and the moral decay afflicting certain corners of society.

The Department of Justice revealed Cooper and Oxendine’s roles in selling a Chinese SKS rifle to Ryan Routh, the accused mastermind behind the plot to assassinate Trump.

Oxendine, despite knowing the rifle’s intended purpose, proceeded with the illicit sale facilitated by Cooper.

Cooper’s role as the intermediary and Oxendine’s sale of the weapon explicitly exposed their complicity.

The rifle transaction took place in August, with Cooper negotiating between Routh and Oxendine.

When Routh was arrested near Trump’s West Palm Beach golf club, he was found with a loaded firearm.

The consequences of such actions are severe; Cooper may face up to 10 years, while Oxendine could serve 15 years due to firearm infractions.

“Two defendants who supplied a firearm to the man charged with trying to kill President Donald Trump in Florida in 2024 have pleaded guilty to gun-related charges, newly-surfaced court documents show,” federal prosecutors said.

Routh faces charges of attempted assassination and unlawful firearm possession, compounded by his criminal history.

He had allegedly removed the rifle’s serial number and sought more weapons.

Despite facing trial, Routh pleaded not guilty, leaving federal prosecutors to pursue justice vigorously.

They plan to leverage Cooper and Oxendine’s involvement as crucial evidence against him.

The affidavits reveal that Cooper claimed Routh requested the weapon “for his son to use as protection,” reflecting a common theme of deceit in her and Routh’s inconsistent stories.

Routh allegedly harbors fears about Trump’s potential impact on the geopolitical front.

More alarming is that Cooper confessed to attempting to erase communications and misleading the FBI to avoid criminal implications.

Cooper further implicated Oxendine, encouraging him to destroy evidence and deny involvement to thwart authorities.
