Biden Accused of ‘Quiet Quitting’ as Rumors Swirl

(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – Joe Biden hasn’t given any public indication he might give up on his reelection ambitions. Still, close allies are accusing him of “quiet quitting,” and rumors are swirling that he will drop out of the 2024 race as his campaign has been slow to gain traction.

Political observers continue to speculate about the possibility that Biden won’t be the 2024 presidential nominee of the Democratic Party regardless of how “far-fetched” such prospects appear at the moment, The Washington Times reports.

“President Biden’s public stumbling, bumbling and low approval ratings have Democratic Party officials privately wringing their hands about the 2024 presidential race,” comments the conservative news outlet.

The rumors it won’t be Joe Biden who faces the GOP challenger in the next election come against the backdrop of “anonymous” complaints by fundraisers and former aides that his “campaign is not ramping up quickly enough.”

Such Democrat figures are worried that the Biden campaign wouldn’t be able to “take on” Donald Trump, the most likely Republican presidential nominee.

The 80-year-old president’s falls and gaffes in public haven’t helped project an image of vigor, as some Democrats are now accusing him of “quiet quitting,” a term reserved for workers doing the bare minimum not to get fired from a job.

California’s Governor Gavin Newsom has been the candidate most often mentioned in speculations as a replacement for Joe Biden.

“California Gov. Gavin Newsom is increasingly being viewed as a nuisance to some of President Joe Biden’s political advisers,” NBC News informs, quoting four sources familiar with the matter.

The Biden campaign is said to be irritated by a planned debate between Newsom and Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who is running for the 2024 GOP nomination even though Newsom has vowed not to challenge Biden for the Democrat nomination.

In a leaked secret report, investment banking company Piper Sandler speculated that the president would quit the race after clinching the Democrat nomination.

According to Fox Business reporter Charlie Gasparino, Wall Street advisors are considering scenarios in which Newsom or Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker replaces Biden.

“The scenario, as crazy as all this sounds, is making the rounds on Wall Street. You hear it in private dinners with top execs,” Gasparino wrote in the New York Post.
