(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – In an incendiary comment seeking to increase the threats against the conservative justices, Hillary Clinton attacked the “MAGA Supreme Court” over how she thinks the court will rule on abortion.
“Breaking: The MAGA Supreme Court majority appears ready to rule that the right to ‘life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness’ doesn’t extend to women with pregnancy complications or who otherwise need abortions,” Clinton claimed.
Then she tried to point fingers, saying the situation was “horrifying, and it is because of Donald Trump.”
Clinton recently condemned the likely Republican candidate who also beat her in the 2016 presidential race.
During an episode of the “Defending Democracy” podcast, she said she was concerned about Trump’s alleged admiration for authoritarian leaders and claimed the former President wanted to go after those who opposed him.
“Trump was like, you know, just gaga over Putin because Putin does what Trump would like to do — kill his opposition, imprison his opposition, drive journalists and others into exile, rule without any check or balance,” Clinton remarked. “That’s what Trump really wants.”
Clinton, who served as a former first lady, senator and secretary of state, has remained a vocal presence in the Democratic Party. She also co-hosts a podcast with her daughter, Chelsea, where they engage with a wide range of issues including women’s rights.
Her comments came as she reacted to Idaho’s abortion law, which does not provide any exceptions other than to save the mother’s life.
The Biden administration has challenged this law under the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act by claiming abortion should be considered necessary lifesaving medical care.
However, the Supreme Court seemed uncertain about this interpretation during deliberations.
In a heated statement on social media, Clinton underscored she was committed to women’s rights, stating, “We won’t allow our daughters and granddaughters to grow up with fewer rights than we had.”
