BOMBSHELL: Total Victory On All Counts

(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – HAPPENING NOW: The impeachment proceedings against Texas Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton concluded on Saturday, with the state senators deciding against his removal from office.

In late May, the Republican-majority state House had chosen to impeach Paxton over allegations of corruption, bribery, and other charges tied to the FBI’s probe into real estate developer and a donor to Paxton, Nate Paul. However, during the trial, the senatorial jury chose not to uphold the 16 articles of impeachment and voted in favor of Paxton’s acquittal, as revealed by the trial livestream.

According to the trial livestream, Paxton was acquitted on the initial ten articles and also on articles 15 to 20. For Paxton to be convicted and removed, at least two-thirds of the 30 participating senators needed to support at least one of the 16 articles.

After Paxton’s acquittal, a motion led to the dismissal of articles 11 to 14, which the Senate had earlier chosen for later consideration. The trial livestream reported this development. Angela Paxton, Ken Paxton’s wife and a Republican state senator, although mandated to be present, was not allowed to vote.

During the trial’s commencement, Paxton refuted all 16 articles. His defense team worked to undermine the arguments presented by the prosecution using evidence. Key testimonies during the trial came from Paxton’s past and present employees, whistleblowers, and other pivotal witnesses.

Before the final verdict, Former President Donald Trump voiced his support for Paxton. Paxton highlighted this on his social media platforms.

Trump stated on Truth Social, “Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton was easily reelected last November, but now establishment RINOS are trying to undo that Election with a shameful impeachment of him. Who would replace Paxton, one of the TOUGHEST & BEST Attorney Generals in the Country? Could it be a Democrat, or even worse, a RINO? The voters have decided who they want! Democrats are feeling very good right now as they watch, as usual, the Republicans fight & eat away at each other. It’s a SAD day in the Great State of Texas!”

Ballotpedia states that before becoming attorney general in 2014, Paxton had served in both chambers of the state legislature. He was reelected in 2018 with a margin of 3.6 points and again in 2022 with nearly a 10-point lead.

Paxton recently declared that he is scheduled for an interview next week with Tucker Carlson, co-founder of the Daily Caller News Foundation, to discuss the impeachment proceedings.
