HUGE: Biden Slammed By 400 Federal Officials

Joe Biden

(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – The truly alarming level of the US government’s infiltration by anti-American and anti-Semitic leftists has just been exposed as hundreds of federal officials from dozens of agencies have openly attacked President Joe Biden’s support for Israel, a vital US ally and a victim of Islamist terrorism.

On Tuesday, over 400 staff members and political appointees from 40 different government agencies sent a letter to Biden, expressing their disagreement with his administration’s support for Israel and urging an immediate ceasefire in the conflict between Israel and Hamas.

Israel is presently advancing in the Gaza Strip after, on October 7, the Palestinian Islamist terrorist group Hamas sadistically massacred over 1,400 Israelis and foreigners in a surprise invasion.

“We call on President Biden to urgently demand a ceasefire; and to call for de-escalation of the current conflict by securing the immediate release of the Israeli hostages and arbitrarily detained Palestinians; the restoration of water, fuel, electricity and other basic services; and the passage of adequate humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip,” reads the US staffer’s letter.

The letter, first obtained by The New York Times and cited by National Review, references a poll indicating public support in the US for a “ceasefire.”

“The overwhelming majority of Americans support a ceasefire. Americans do not want the US military to be drawn into another costly and senseless war in the Middle East,” the US staffers say.

The letter reflects a generational shift in attitudes towards US policy on Israel, with many signatories being in their 20s and 30s, the Review notes.

President Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken have maintained that a ceasefire could strengthen Hamas, allowing it to enhance its capabilities for further terror attacks.

The administration has favored temporary humanitarian pauses over a ceasefire to facilitate aid delivery and civilian evacuation from Northern Gaza.

The letter’s release followed the Israeli Defense Forces’ revelation that Hamas used a children’s hospital in Gaza as a military base.

This letter coincides with at least three internal cables sent through the State Department’s “dissent channel,” a confidential platform for employees to express concerns about US policy.

Two cables were sent in the initial week of the war, with a more recent one being dispatched, as reported by the Times.

One recent cable, organized by Sylvia Yacoub of the Bureau of Middle East Affairs, was signed by 100 State Department members and USAID members.
