(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – In what many see as a highly suspicious move, the White House has prevented the release of hundreds of emails involving Joe Biden’s office when he was vice president and the business dealings of his son, Hunter.
The Biden White House claimed the emails were protected by executive privilege as it moved to block the release requested by America First Legal Foundation, a conservative legal nonprofit founded by former Trump administration officials Stephen Miller and Gene Hamilton.
The White House’s decision to block the release of the electronic correspondence was announced by America First Legal, as it made public three batches of emails handed over to it by the National Archives agency over a request the conservative group filed in August 2022, The Daily Caller reports.
The newly exposed emails show that the office of then-Vice President Joe Biden and his son’s firm, Rosemont Seneca, exchanged over 1,000 emails during the eight years of the Obama administration, Fox News stresses.
The report points out that the line between Joe Biden’s work and Hunter Biden’s business was apparently “often blurred,” judging from the emails.
“These records provide even more evidence that no daylight existed between Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings and the Office of the Vice President during the Obama Administration,” commented America First Legal Vice President Gene Hamilton.
“The evidence accumulating against the Biden family’s malfeasance is staggering. We will continue to put the pieces of this puzzle together and expose the truth to the American people,” he added.
Yet, apart from the released emails, the White House withheld other email messages, arguing they “would disclose confidential advice between the President and his advisors, or between such advisors,” reveal letters from the National Archives, as cited by The Caller.
Its report emphasizes Joe Biden’s frequent claims that he never discusses and has no knowledge of his son’s foreign business dealings.
Yet, the House Republicans’ investigation into the first family has found that Biden family members received at least $20 million in wire transfers from Communist China, Putin’s Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Romania.
At the same time, Hunter’s former associate Devon Archer told Congress in July that the first son put then-Vice President Biden on the phone with business partners at least 20 times.
The newly released emails obtained by AFL also show the first son participated in planning numerous White House events, such as the January 2011 China State Luncheon, for which his first Rosemont Seneca even compiled guest lists.
