United Nations Attacks Israel!? (video)

(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – Besides bloodthirsty Palestinian terrorists, US ally Israel has also come under attack from the United Nations — a body dominated by socialists, communists, and Western enemies — as a UN operative blasted the Jewish state on how it is defending itself after recently getting invaded.

On October 7, Palestinian terrorist groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad used the Gaza Strip, a tiny enclave of 2.2 million people, as an invasion base against Southern Israel. The terrorists massacred over 1,400 people, including 27 Americans, and abducted nearly 200.

Since then, Israel has reportedly been preparing for a ground operation against Hamas in Gaza, telling Palestinian civilians in the northern part of the enclave to evacuate to avoid the violence.

On Tuesday, Ravina Shamdasani, a UN human rights office spokeswoman, slammed Israel’s recent evacuation order for Palestinian civilians in northern Gaza, coupled with ongoing attacks on the territory, National Review reports.

Shamdasani expressed apprehension regarding the evacuation order and the imposition of a “complete siege” on Gaza.

She suggested that this combination might not be considered a lawful temporary evacuation and could amount to the forcible transfer of civilians, which would violate international law.

“Forcible transfer” refers to the forced displacement of civilian populations, which is regarded as a crime against humanity that could lead to international legal consequences, the report notes.

Last Friday, the Israeli military instructed approximately 1.1 million Palestinians to evacuate Gaza City and move southward in anticipation of an expected ground offensive. However, no official operation had commenced at that point.

Hamas, known for using civilians as human shields, rescinded the evacuation order and urged civilians to stay home.

The UN also pointed out that it is Israel’s responsibility to provide accommodations for Gazans who had temporarily left their homes while the Israel Defense Forces continued airstrikes against Hamas targets in the area.

Shamdasani noted that those who complied with the evacuation order now find themselves in the south of the Gaza Strip with limited shelter, dwindling food supplies, and inadequate access to clean water, sanitation, medicine, and other basic necessities.

The UN’s remarks came as international concerns grew regarding food and water supplies running out for displaced Gazans due to Israel’s blockade.
